UAS-115 Small UAS Certification This course prepares learners for small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) flight certification to promote compliance with the requirements of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14CFR). Topics include FAA Title 14 CFR Part 107 study guide and NCDOT UAS flight standards to provide guidance in the areas or remote pilot certification, aircraft registration and marking, aircraft airworthiness, basic piloting skills, and the operation of small UAS. Upon completion, students should be able to meet requirements for small UAS certification through the NCDOT and perform basic small UAS piloting in accordance with FAA Title 14 CFR Part 107 regulations.
