Over sixty years ago, in August 1963, the doors to the Davidson County Industrial Education Center opened and the first students began classes at what would become Davidson County Community College. By 2023, this institution had more than 500,000 alumni, two campuses, and a new name to better reflect the two counties we serve. For all of these 60-plus years, the education of our students and the success of our communities have been our goals - and that is the focus and dedication you will continue to get from us.
You have a lot of options here at Davidson-Davie, from more than 40 academic programs, to clubs and extracurricular opportunities, to friends and mentors who can be part of this journey. If you need help with any of your decisions, please reach out to our faculty and staff. We want you to be successful both inside and outside the classroom.
