HET-134 Diesel Fuel and Power System This course introduces the principles of fuel injection and other power systems used in the heavy equipment industry including newer and cleaner technology. Emphasis is placed on test equipment, component functions, safety, and theories of older conventional and newer and cleaner Tier III and Tier IV fuel systems. Upon completion, students should be able to diagnose and service fuel systems and explain proper safety procedures on alternative fuel systems used in heavy equipment industry. Semester Offered: Spring
