LOG-230 Transportation Management This course covers the function of shippers and carriers in the transportation industry. Emphasis is placed on negotiating price and service requirements in the movement of goods, identifying areas of carrier liability, and the methods for processing claims. Upon completion, students should be able to compare common carriers and company operated transportation for service and cost, interpret pricing structures, and determine carrier liability.
