Associate in Science, A.S.

The Associate in Science (A.S.) program is included in the agreement between North Carolina’s community colleges and its four-year colleges and universities. It is designed to provide students with an opportunity to take the first two years of a four-year program in many majors.

Upon successful completion of the Associate in Arts, Associate in Science or Associate in General Education, the student should be able to:

  1. Communicate effectively.
  2. Think critically.
  3. Demonstrate information literacy.
  4. Demonstrate interdependence.

First Semester

Choose One Math Course From Below For First Semester

Choose One Social/Behavioral Science Course From Below For First Semester (Must Be Different Prefixes)

Second Semester

Choose One Humanities/Fine Art Course From Below For Second Semester

Choose One Math Course From Below For Second Semester

Third Semester

Choose One English Course From Below For Third Semester

Fourth Semester

Choose One Social/Behavioral Science Course From Below For Fourth Semester (Must Be Different Prefixes)
