Recreation and Leisure Studies: Emphasis in Facility Maintenance (High School Career and College Promise (CCP))

This certificate prepares individuals to maintain recreation facilities in diverse environments. The program is designed to meet the needs of students interested in the private, public, commercial, or therapeutic environment. This certificate will focus on aspects of recreation facilities maintenance.

Upon successful completion of all courses in this pathway, the student will be awarded a Recreation and Leisure Studies: Certificate with an Emphasis in Recreation Facility Maintenance. Students can complete additional certificates and earn an associate degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies after graduating from High School.

Technical Standards:

In addition to DCCC requirements and course objectives, there are professional standards that encompass communication, motor skills, sensory and cognitive ability and professional conduct that are essential for the competent study and practice of this program.  Recreation and Leisure Studies Technical Standards
