Diesel & Heavy Equipment Technology Certificate: Emphasis in Service Technician

Upon completion of this certificate students will be able to diagnose, disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble air brake systems, wiring and electrical systems, and adjust and repair suspension and steering components on medium and heavy-duty vehicles.

In addition to DCCC requirements and course objectives, there are professional standards that encompass communication, motor skills, sensory and cognitive ability and professional conduct that are essential for the competent study and practice of this program.  Transportation Technology Technical Standards
