Recreation and Leisure Studies: Emphasis in Recreation Programing (High School Career and College Promise (CCP))

This certificate prepares individuals to plan, direct, and implement recreation activities in afterschool and day camp settings. The program is designed to meet the needs of students interested in the private, public, commercial, or therapeutic environment. This certificate will focus on aspects of afterschool and summer camp programming.

Upon successful completion of all courses in this pathway, the student will be awarded a Recreation and Leisure Studies: Certificate in Afterschool and Day Camp Programming. Students can complete additional certificates and earn an associate degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies after graduating from High School.
