MLT-125 Immunohematology I This course introduces the immune system and response; basic concepts of antigens, antibodies, and their reactions; and applications in transfusion medicine and serodiagnostic testing. Emphasis is placed on immunological and blood banking techniques including concepts of cellular and humoral immunity and pretransfusion testing. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate theoretical comprehension in performing and interpreting routine immunological and blood bank procedures. - Take MLT 111 ; Minimum grade C; (Required, Previous).
