HSE-150 Preventive Intervention

This course covers a person-centered and culturally sensitive approach to mental health issues, evidence-based approaches to prevention, early intervention, and ongoing support. Topics include risk and protective factors, early signs and symptoms, trauma-informed approaches, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Upon completion, students should be able to display the competencies necessary to support individuals and communities facing mental health challenges. Semester Offered: Summer
