The Social and Human Services CCP Certificate is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in institutions and agencies that provide social, community, and educational services. Upon successful completion of all courses in this pathway, the student will be awarded a Certificate in Social and Human Services from Davidson-Davie Community College. Once students complete the certificate, they can continue their coursework towards another certificate, diploma, or associate degree.

Progression Requirements
A student must earn a grade of “C” or better in all Social and Human Services courses in order to progress in the program.
Graduates of the A.A.S. program should qualify for positions in mental health, family services, social services, rehabilitation, corrections, and educational agencies.
Technical Standards
In addition to Davidson-Davie requirements and course objectives, there are professional standards that encompass communication, motor skills, sensory and cognitive ability and professional conduct that are essential for the competent study and practice of human services.
